Interval valued bimatrix games
نویسنده
چکیده
Payoffs in (bimatrix) games are usually not known precisely, but it is often possible to determine lower and upper bounds on payoffs. Such interval valued bimatrix games are considered in this paper. There are many questions arising in this context. First, we discuss the problem of existence of an equilibrium being common for all instances of interval values. We show that this property is equivalent to solvability of a certain linear mixed integer system of equations and inequalities. Second, we characterize the set of all possible equilibria by mean of a linear mixed integer system.

Interval-Valued Bimatrix Game Method for Engineering Project Management
The bimatrix game theory is concerned with how two players make decisions when they are faced with known exact payoffs. The aim of this paper is to develop a simple and an effective bilinear programming method for solving bimatrix games in which the payoffs are represented by intervals. Because the payoffs of the bimatrix game are intervals, the values of the bimatrix game for both players are ...
متن کاملAn interval-valued programming approach to matrix games with payoffs of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers
The purpose of this paper is to develop a methodology for solving a new type of matrix games in which payoffs are expressed with triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TIFNs). In this methodology, the concept of solutions for matrix games with payoffs of TIFNs is introduced. A pair of auxiliary intuitionistic fuzzy programming models for players are established to determine optimal strategies...
متن کاملFuzzy Bimatrix Games with Single and Multiple Objective : introduction to the computational techniques
This paper introduces to the computational techniques of non-cooperative bimatrix games in an uncertain environment. Both single and multiple objective fuzzy-valued bimatrix games are considered theoretically with one numerical example. The presentation is centered on the Nishizaki and Sakawa models. These models are based on the maxmin and minmax principles of the classical matrix game theory....

متن کاملCharacterization of the Equilibrium Strategy of Fuzzy Bimatrix Games Based on L-R Fuzzy Variables
This paper deals with bimatrix games in uncertainty environment based on several types of ordering, which Maeda proposed. But Maeda’s models was just made based on symmetrical triangle fuzzy variable. In this paper, we generalized Maeda’s model to the non-symmetrical environment. In other words, we investigated the fuzzy bimatrix games based on nonsymmetrical L-R fuzzy variables. Then the pseud...
